Just a quick pen drawing I did for my brother, since he really likes the xenomorph queen and kept on begging for it all summer long
I think it took about 30min to draw.

Wie hast du es eigentlich gezeichnet?
Hast du irgendeine Pose zur Referenz genommen?

Hm, ne eigentlich habe ich relativ direkt alles mit einem Gelstift aus der Vorstellung heraus gezeichnet. Ich habe lediglich mit Bleistift die Pose im Strichmännchenlook etwas vorgezeichnet, damit die Dame nicht aussieht, als hätte sie einen Anfall. Bei den Beinen habe ich kurz zu einer meiner Figuren rübergeschielt, damit ich die eleganten Proportionen besser hinbekomme. Ist aber auch nicht zu detailliert oder awesome, weils halt nur eine 30min Kritzelei ist, damit meim Bruder Ruhe gibt

Puh, ehrlichgsagt habe ich immer schon gerne gezeichnet seit ich klein war. In der Uni musste ich wegen Zeitmangel alles etwas stehen lassen, was mir nicht so gut getan hat. Jetzt bin ich im letzten Semester bei der Kunsthochschule (mache Wissenschaftliche Illustration) und die drei Jahre haben mich halt echt vorangebracht, gerade was schnelles Skizzieren angeht. Deshalb bin ich wohl eher über dem Durchschnitt was Zeichnen angeht, aber halt längst nicht so gut wie manch anderer Künster hier auf DA. Solange ich noch besser als die Fetischfotzen hier bin, gehts mir gut XD
Tja und Xenos zeichne ich halt auch nicht zum ersten Mal, da ich ein grosser Fan des Franchises bin, daher sieht die wohl etwas besser aus

I just got done watching behind the scenes of Aliens when I saw this so watching how they had constructed the entire Alien Queen for that movie is still fresh in my mind. This thing is a marvel of a character design that renewed the terror of xenos, and I think you nailed it really well here.

I doubt we'll be seeing her in Alien Covenant or anything really hinting at her, but I'm hoping she shows up at some point down the line.

I remember seeing the making of Aliens as well. I've always been a huge fan of the franchise and Aliens or better said the queen in it was the very last movie that managed to scare me. So I'll probably always have a special spot for her in my heart, even though this is a mere quick drawing of her

I don't think she'll show up in Covenant either. Maybe as a cliffhanger at the end if anything. It's been a long time since she showed up in a movie. The last one was AVP.

Yeah, that's kinda why I've liked a lot of the EU when it comes to Aliens, Predator and AvP. It's a bit more fan servicey but it's still, in a way, more appealing than the continuations we've gotten in film. They're just more loyal to the franchise.
